I can't help but wonder if I never woke up
If I would have stayed the night

You sat down beside me and sighed
I held back the tears and kept it inside

You left the next morning without a goodbye
A part of me left with you and is gone to this day

Passing Through The End Jane drove for another five hours before she finally pulled off the road, she was somewhere in Indiana now. She didn't really know what part of Indiana she was in but she remembered passing the welcome to Indiana sign awhile ago and hadn't reached another state that she was aware of.
She found a hotel right off the highway and pulled into the parking lot, when she did Lucy sprun up in the back seat and jumped to the front.
"Stay, I'll be right back." Lucy sat down on the seat as Jane got out of the car.
Jane walked into the hotel lobby to be greeted by a little old lady, "Hello sweetie, what can I do for you?"

Passing Through Chapter 12 Shelly came downstairs with her keys in her hand, "Are you two ready?"
"As ready as I will ever be." Jane said, finally understanding this was it this was the last time she would feel the love of this family.
The whole ride to the station, Jane went over and over her decision, was she doing the right thing, should she stay, was it weaker to leave or to stay?
They reached the station and Jane felt cold, she knew that she was going to say goodbye to the first person she had loved on such a deep level and everything about it hurt. She got out of Shelly's car and let Lucy out, Lucy went sprinting across the parking lot to where Jack stood. LuPassing Through Chapter 12 by ~NumbComfortably
